Two new Irish Crossings for the Vutuni Community in Ba

Approximately 2000 people in the farming community of Vutuni, Ba will benefit from two newly constructed Irish Crossings.

These two crossings will offer great support to the farmers in the area who harvest and transport around 5000 tonnes of sugarcane.

Fiji Roads Authority awarded the tender to Fairdeal Earthmoving Limited to construct the two crossings at a cost of $2.6 Million dollars.

Construction started in January this year and took 9 months to complete.

Both crossings will be opened by the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Honourable Parveen Kumar on the 07th of October.
