TRAFFIC SIGNAL DAMAGED DUE TO AN ACCIDENT, STAY CAUTIOUS

27 October 2018

The new traffic signal at Kinoya Intersection has been damaged following a major accident last night.

The FRA has removed the accident pole and the traffic signal intersection is being controlled by signs and cones. The traffic police marshals will assist the public.

We are urging the public to exercise extreme caution on our roads, slow down, be courteous and obey all traffic directions as this effectively becomes a work site for the FRA’s Electrical team.

The current weather and the accident will further delay our traffic signal restoration. Complete repair will take some time due to the extent of damage incurred, in the meantime temporary controls will be maintained.
