TRAFFIC TO BE REDUCED TO SINGLE LANE FROM CENTRE POINT TO KINOYA FROM 6.30PM TONIGHT

10 January 2018

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) will be carrying out demolition and backfilling works of the concrete chambers on the roadway along Kings Road from Centre Point to Kinoya from 6.30pm tonight.

As a consequence, traffic lanes will be reduced to one lane during off-peak hours.

We will accommodate two lanes during peak hours (i.e. two lanes for Suva bound in the morning and one lane for Nausori bound/ two lanes for Nausori bound in the afternoon and one lane for Suva bound).

Due to the urgency of the works, our contractor China Railway Fifth Group will be carrying out works 24 hours.

Work is anticipated to be completed by 7am Monday, 15 January 2018.

This is part of the Suva Arterial Road Upgrading Project (SARUP 1).
