TRAFFIC LIGHTS AT NADI AIRPORT INTERSECTION TEMPORARILY OUT OF COMMISSION

1 June 2017

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) would like to advise members of the public that the Nadi Airport intersection traffic lights are temporarily out of commission.

This was after the power supply module needed an immediate replacement.

FRA Chief Executive Officer John Hutchinson said their contractors were working on getting a replacement board at the earliest and normal operation should be established within the next couple of days.

“Please be mindful that the traffic lights will be flashing amber during this period and the traffic light intersection will be controlled by signs and cones. The traffic police marshals will assist the public throughout this period.”

Mr Hutchinson has advised the public, especially motorists to be courteous, respect the speed limit and obey all traffic directions.
