26 February, 2018

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is advising members of the public travelling towards Nausori that our contractor will be carrying out works at Laqere intersection (from Pilling Road junction to Laqere Bridge) from 8.00pm to 5.30am from today 26th February till 1st March 2018.

FRA Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Moore says that pavement rehabilitation work that is part of the SARUP 01 project will be carried out along the Laqere Intersection.   “During these works lanes will be reduced to one lane with proper traffic management controls in place.”

These major road upgrading works will improve the quality of ride for traveling public and also contribute to more reliable journey times following the full completion of the Suva Arterial Road Upgrade Project (SARUP 01).

Mr. Moore has thanked the road users for their patience and understanding as FRA continues to improve the road infrastructure.
